How Would You Design Obama’s Luncheon Menu?
By Diana Jou - Jan 21st, 2009 at 9:48 amOne of the re-occurring themes of the lead up to yesterday’s inauguration was the life and work of Abraham Lincoln, so it’s fitting that President Obama was served the same lunch as former President Lincoln in 1861. The Senate inauguration website made Obama’s presidential luncheon menu and recipe available to everyone.

The Lincoln symbolism is appropriate, but this menu but reveals little of Obama’s culinary tastes.
For all the foodies out there, what are your thoughts on the meal design? What would you have suggested?
