Bill Moyers Interviews Michael Pollan
By Tanya Paperny - Dec 5th, 2008 at 12:29 pmIf Michael Pollan had five minutes with Barack Obama to talk about some of the most pressing issues facing our generation, Pollan would talk about… food.
Pollan is the author of The Omnivore’s Dilemma and a fierce advocate for agricultural reform and a general refocusing of attention on food. In a recent interview with Bill Moyers, an awesome journalist and himself a fierce advocate for media reform, Pollan talks about how food politics impacts everything from health care to climate change to national security.
And Pollan says that we are the first generation to have a shorter life span than our parents, largely due to our lifestyles and how/what we eat.
Check it out–such a great interview.
