The Almighty Creator Weighs In
By Nick Sifuentes - Nov 20th, 2008 at 5:41 pmSo it seems that God Herself has finally decided to get off her duff and chime in, via an amicus brief, on the California same-sex marriage debate, which was just escalated to the state Supreme Court. She is not on our side.
In case you were wondering, God also goes by the Earthly name of Divine Queen Mariette Do-Nguyen and apparently resides in San Diego (were I God, personally, I would’ve probably chosen to settle down somewhere slightly north of San Francisco, like Tiburon or maybe Napa Valley; it’s much nicer than San Diego, I think, but who am I to question these things?).
God/Do-Nguyen is somewhat confusingly also listed as the Divine Heiress to the Almighty Eternal Creator, which implies that she will be waiting for her inheritance for quite some time. Anyhow, God lets us know that she is pretty firmly in favor of the ban on same-sex marriage:
Gay and lesbian marriage and abortion are serious attempts to destroy the Almighty Eternal Creator’s ongoing creation of human life on earth! If they do not change their sexual conduct and pay in full for damages caused while they are on earth, they surely must pay after their earthly lives!
God’s really thinking ahead here–gay abortion is like item 10 or 11 on The Gay Agenda; we’re barely on number two. Oh, it’s also worth mentioning that the paragraph preceding this statement basically equates the violation of law that is same-sex marriage with the violation of law that is the assassination of the President, which… yeah, I guess I see the parallels.
Regardless, the court clerks filed the brief with the Court, so it remains to be seen how heavily God’s divine word will influence the decision those horrible godless secular Republican Supreme Court justices make.
