Newt on Tolerance

Yeah, he may lean to the right, they say, but he’s eminently reasonable and he sure has some interesting ideas!
Here’s Reasonable Newt on gay rights:
I think there is a gay and secular fascism in this country that wants to impose its will on the rest of us, is prepared to use violence, to use harassment. I think it is prepared to use the government if it can get control of it. I think that it is a very dangerous threat to anybody who believes in traditional religion.
Maybe it’s myopia on my part, and maybe I’m missing all the other great stuff he does, but, to me, once someone says something this radical and unhinged, I’m not likely to pay much attention to them in the future, nor consider them a serious, respectable thinker.
